Awards, Honors and Industry Accomplishments:

2004: Won best in show (out of 150 cars) at first car show with first restored vehicle, a 1960 Jaguar, 18 years old.

2006: Opened Steve’s Restorations and Hot Rods in Clinton,NY

2007: Relocated to Marcy, NY. Renovated 8,000 sq ft building, assembled paint booth and created a high end workspace.

2009: Completed The Green Machine, a 1956 Ford F100 environmentally friendly street rod.

2009: Painted The Syracuse Nationals Giveaway car, a 1927 roadster, featured on the cover of Street Rodder Magazine.

2009: Displayed at The Syracuse Nationals for the first time as a company, total of 5 vehicles (all restored by S.R.H.R.). As well as displayed The Green Machine w/ PPG for it’s first show appearance. Syracuse, NY

2009: Became a SEMA member

2009: Displayed The Green Machine, at SEMA’s Making Green Cool Zone. LasVegas, NV

2010: Featured in The Observer Dispatch “Exceptional Business”

2010: Featured on The Mohawk Valley Living Television show

2011: Displayed 7 vehicles and 2 motorcycles (all restored by S.R.H.R.) at The Syracuse Nationals in The Steve’s Restorations & Hot Rods booth and the PPG display

2011: Displayed 12 vehicles by S.R.H.R. and helped to promote the local Carbone Cars and Guitars Car Show

2012: Featured in Truckin’ Magazine Issue #2 For The Top Ten Trucks of 2011

2012: Street Machines of Rochester Motor Mania, Hottest Hue Award and Rolling Thunder Award

2012: Honored as one of the top 35 people under 35 years old in the automotive aftermarket industry, The SEMA Magazine.

2013: Moved into 13,000 sq. ft. shop in Frankfort, NY after completely renovating the building and overseeing the entire project, including assembling a state of the art paintbooth. Had a successful grand opening and open house hosting nearly 500 guests, along with live music, catering, the Utica Zoo, PPG’s show tractor trailer, and a classic car display.

2012-2015: Displayed the Steve’s Restorations and Hot Rods booth at The Syracuse Nationals with over 12 automobiles and 7 motorcycles along with multiple restored antique items each year.

2015: Featured on The Mohawk Valley Living television show and in their magazine for the 2nd time.

2015: Featured on the cover plus 5 page article in The Apex Magazine

2015: Featured in numerous articles, podcasts, radio and television interviews, including: WKTV, 92.7 The Drive, Big Frog 104.3, The Talk Of The Town, The Utica OD, The Signal and The Editor

2016: Starred on History Channel’s television show, American Restoration, season 7. Nine episodes featuring projects by Steve’s Restorations and Hot Rods: Mr. Muscle, Handicap Torino, Rollerskate Car, Cadillac Couch, BBQ Truck, Isotta Fraschini, The Green Machine, Ford Falcon half car wall display.

2016: Hosted the Street Rodder Magazine Road Tour

2016: Displayed the largest Steve’s Restorations and Hot Rods booth to date at The 2016 Syracuse Nationals. An 80’ x 70’ display, along with: Making celebrity appearances & multiple autograph sessions for PPG and Ford Motor Company. Live podcast with Shift & Steer Media(available on I-Tunes). Successfully collaborated with seven other companies to bring the show to life.

2017: Completed hand-built Handicap accessible 2005 Harley Davidson for client who’s Handicap Torino was also built on American Restoration.

2017: Displayed at The Detroit Autorama for the 2nd time in career, with 1936 Chevy truck that we restored and customized. 1st Place Full Custom Truck & Best display, both are ISCA awards. Detroit MI

2017: Best of Show, Modified, Vehicles for Vision Invitational. 1936 Chevy

2017: Restored 1920’s built copper entranceway and solid copper doors for Jordan Elbridge School.

2017: Celebrity guest at the Saratoga Auto Auction along with Paul Teutel Jr.

2017: Sold 1936 Harley that we restored for $80,000 at The Saratoga Auto Auction. More than double the highest selling price ever recorded for that model vintage Harley Davidson.

2018: Body off restoration of 1936 Bugatti Type 57 Atalante. Over 3000 hours completed in 6 months.

2018: Concours d’ Elegance of America Plymouth, MI. Displayed the 1936 Bugatti and won a class award.

2018: Displayed the 1936 Bugatti at The International Bugatti Club’s Tour of Saratoga and Limerock race track’s 10th U.S. Bugatti Grand Prix, alongside the two Bugatti Atlantics(two of the highest valued vehicles in existence) and drove in the Bugatti parade through Saratoga with numerous other Bugatti’s, including the Chiron and the Atlantics.

2018: Celebrity guest at the Saratoga Auto Auction along with the American Pickers.

2018: Restored and customized 1991 Military Humvee for Feed Our Vets and assisted with their selling it at auction to raise funds for their charity, which all of the proceeds went to. Over $50,000.00 worth of services were donated.

2019: Hamburg NY Best 1936 Chevy

2019: Concours d’ Elegance of Amelia Island. Displayed the 1936 Bugatti and won the Amelia award for our class.

2019: Successfully owned and operated Steve’s Restorations and Hot Rods for 13 years. Restored and/or painted, designed, oversaw and completed thousands of projects.
